Meet James Seder, First Bank of the Palm Beaches’ Vice President and Market Executive for the Wellington Banking Center located at 12796 Forest Hill Boulevard.
Q. What do you like most about working and living in Wellington?
A. The opportunity to live and work in my home town is priceless. I met and married my wife in Wellington. My kids grew up in Wellington. My entire family lives here and I am able to see them frequently. At work, I see friends and neighbors on a daily basis and I am able to be a valued part of their lives.
Q. What do you like most about working at First Bank of the Palm Beaches?
A. I am blessed with a chance to work with great bankers on a daily basis. I learn something new every day I come to work. I am also thankful that my job allows me to always place my clients’ well- being above quotas, goals, and incentives.
Q. Are you involved in the community?
A. I am a Board Member for the Wellington Community Foundation. Their mission is to help seniors, veterans, and children that live in Wellington. Recently, we approved the purchase and installation of a hot water heater for an elderly widow living in Wellington. Living on a fixed income she could not afford the expense. Now, whenever she takes a hot shower she will know that there are people out there who care about her. It’s a great feeling to help people.
Q. When you are not banking, what are your hobbies?
A. My hobbies include traveling, pulling weeds in the yard, and spending time with my family.
Q. What would be your dream career?
A. I already have my dream career, but if it doesn’t work out, I would like to be the guy who waters the plants at Lowes because plants only need sunlight and water to grow and don’t talk back.
